Baseball had always meant a lot to me having seen the White Sox win the world series back in 2005. However, I have never seen a city become so enlightened in sports as Baltimore did once they reached the playoffs. I personally have relatives leaving in Baltimore and my eight six year old who has lived their for seven year has never really watched sports until the positive impact the team had been put into formation.
